The Teton mountain range rises high above the valley known as Jackson Hole, with the Grand Teton, the highest peak, reaching over 13,000 feet above sea level. Displaying some of North America's oldest rocks, Grand Teton supports large pine and spruce forests, sub-alpine meadows, and alpine stone fields. A long list of summer activities are enjoyed by visitors, including hiking, biking, photography, canoeing, and more. Winter fun sees snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and skiing.
