Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area covers over 120,000 acres of Wyoming and Montana. Big Horn Lake stretches the entire length of the canyon, offering boating, and fishing, but the real trophies are to be caught in the Bighorn River, just below the Afterbay Dam. As a lesser known treasure, this area boasts a huge variety of recreational opportunities.

Bear River State Park
Located in Wyoming's southwest corner, Bear River State Park is home to a large herd of bison, as well as an abundant array of other wildlife. Hiking and skiing trails, picnic shelters, and a winding river make up some of the recreational activities available in Bear River State Park.
